BMS Engineer

Location: Mountain View, CA

What this job involves - Responsible for the installation, programming, testing, calibrating, operating, and repair of building control systems. This includes systems such as HVAC, lighting, security, and fire alarm. Must have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including ALC BMS, micro-block coding and as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Install, program, test, calibrate, operate, and repair building control systems.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules for all building control systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair building control system problems.
• Work with architects, engineers, and contractors to design and implement new building control systems.
• Maintain records of all building control system work.
• Comply with all applicable safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in engineering, technology, or a related field.
• 2-3 years relevant experience .
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
