Director, Software Engineering

We are looking for a dynamic and visionary Engineering Leader to join our team at LaSalle Investment Management. In this role, you will lead a global team of engineers and work closely with product and business teams to leverage technology and drive amazing outcomes for our business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a diverse global team of engineers, focusing on hiring and nurturing top engineering talent from around the world.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, product owners, and enterprise technology teams, championing collaboration and delivering as One Team.
• Collaborate with product and business leaders to identify areas where technology can make a significant impact and lead the execution of innovative solutions.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving innovation and staying ahead of emerging technologies and best practices.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of scalable and reliable solutions to drive efficiency and business growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate technology solutions into existing systems and processes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a strong focus on engineering and transformation initiatives.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing global engineering teams.
• Experience in the financial services industry is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based technologies, data-driven architecture, and modern development frameworks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset.
