Site Development Project Manager Job Description
- Work closely with client staff to provide input during the development phase of each assigned project.
- Coordinate with civil engineers, geotechnical and environmental engineers, architects, sign vendors, traffic consultants, land use attorneys, etc. through the project approvals process. RFP engineers for self-developed projects.
- Coordinate Development of Client's Preliminary Drawings with Design Partners.
- Coordinate Development of necessary Lease Exhibits and work directly with Client's Real Estate and Legal Teams.
- Collaborate with Client's Program Leads and development team to value engineer site plans and to develop project schedules to help in decision making.
- Represent Client at public hearings when needed as part of the project process.
- Review plans and status with client throughout the development process.
- Provide estimated Approval timeline based on due diligence, entitlements, and approvals required.
- Manage/lead project transition to Construction Project Manager.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Four Year undergraduate degree in Engineering, Building Construction, Architecture, or BBA with major in Real Estate or related degree.
- 3-7 years of relevant site development experience.
- Organize and lead multiple projects simultaneously in various stages.
- Develop and implement communication documents & presentations for the organization.
- Able to read site plans and building plans, specs and understand building & site construction details.
- Able to understand and summarize geotechnical, environmental, and traffic reports.
- Coordinate & develop concept sketches.
- Develop project budgets.
- Communicate & coordinate with legal professionals.
- Communicate project status internally & externally
