About the Role
As a Software Engineer III, you will be responsible for research, design, and software development assignments within a specific software functional area or product line. You will have the ability to work on individual pieces of work and solve problems including the design of the program flow of individual pieces of code, effective coding, and unit testing.
Responsibilities
- Performing moderately difficult research, design, and software development tasks
- Working on individual pieces of code and solving problems
- Designing program flow and ensuring effective coding and unit testing
- Finalizing requirements by interfacing with other technical personnel or team members
- Translating product requirements into software designs and implementing development processes
- Collaborating with key stakeholders in various development environments
- Resolving technical issues and keeping abreast of new technology developments
- Completing bug fixes as necessary
Requirements
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of Software Engineering with extensive professional experience.
- Have a BS in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Be proficient with data manipulation languages
- Be familiar with data modeling principles and complex data models
- Be knowledgeable in development languages such as Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX, and .Net
- Be well-versed in industry best practices and software development methodologies
- Have good oral and written communication skills
- Be able to work well with internal and external technology resources
