About Out Together
Out Together is a charity that unites LGBTQ+ people across West Yorkshire, creating a diverse, vibrant and enduring multigenerational community to overcome cultural and social barriers that can prevent people ageing with dignity. They help members keep well, have fun and stay connected by providing regular social activities, tele-friending and signposting to other services.
‘Club Out Together ‘is our social and networking event for working people who realise the potential for all generations with skills, dedication and commitment to come together to create lasting change in our community. It’s a unique opportunity to meet with like-minded LGBTQ+ professionals from around West Yorkshire, all of whom recognise that one day they too will be older.
Working for Out Together
We are a volunteer led and managed charity and follow ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) principles of building on the assets that are found in the LGBTQ+ community. We seek to mobilize individuals, associations and institutions who share our values to come together to realise and develop their strengths. This creates a more dynamic, stimulating and vibrant attitude from our members, volunteers and supporters.
Diversity & Inclusion
We aim to be fully inclusive – from our trustees (2 gay, I lesbian, I trans) and across our membership.
About LGBTQ+ / Inclusion Network
We are a partner of Leeds LGBT+ Consortium, a diverse network of groups in Leeds, and we seek to establish more connections across the region
