BAE Systems do offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however it is expected on our Graduate programme you will be required to attend your site 2 days per week. Please note, this may be subject to change in line with the needs of the business. The hybrid working arrangements including which days you are required to work on site/remotely will be outlined by your line manager.

Salary    £34,000 & £2,000 Welcome Bonus

What you will be doing The Enterprise IT Cyber Security team is responsible for delivering Cyber Security services across the Company in the UK and in some International markets.  The Operations team within this; detects and responds to cyber and insider threats through development of intelligence, system monitoring, testing controls, technical tools enhancements, and incident & vulnerability management.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the IT Security Assurance Team in conducing risk assessments, determining critical risk mitigations and assuring them to ensure compliance and control effectiveness;
• Embedded in the IT Security Transformation Programme to deliver the required business outcomes;
• Work with the Threat Detection Team to develop and enhance our Threat monitoring capability;
• Work as part of a dynamic team safeguarding BAE Systems IT infrastructure against cyber security threats;
• Develop and create a Threat Hunting Strategy working with our SOC Analysts;
• Work as part of the Threat Intelligence team to identify threats to BAE Systems and the wider community.

Skills As a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology (IT), Cyber Security or Computer Science degree.

All applicants must as a minimum achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks.
