BAE Systems do offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however it is expected on our Graduate programme you will be required to attend your site 3-4 days per week. Please note, this may be subject to change in line with the needs of the business. The hybrid working arrangements including which days you are required to work on site/remotely will be outlined by your line manager.

What you will be doing
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supporting the production of appropriate department documentation, such as planning documents and training material.
- Liaising with other technical departments (i.e technicians, machine shop, new product introduction) to resolve manufacturing challenges or for planning purposes.
- Responsible for developing innovative process solutions for implementing continuous improvement.
- Day to day support of our manufacturing cells including continuous improvement of cell layouts and processes.
- Understanding the importance of a Quality first mindset and some of the Quality tools we use (i.e auditing, non-conformance, concessions).
- Developing ad-hoc skills around tooling design, supporting additive manufacturing (i.e 3D printing) and CAD skills (AutoCAD, CREO)
- Running and management of the 3D print facility.
- Responsibility and opportunity for identifying own development opportunities.

On commencement of employment you will be paid a one-off non-consolidated lump sum payment of £2,000 (the “Welcome Payment”). As a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering degree.
