BAE Systems do offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however it is expected on our Summer Intern programme you will be required to attend your site 3-4 days per week. Please note, this may be subject to change in line with the needs of the business. The hybrid working arrangements including which days you are required to work on site/remotely will be outlined by your line manager.
Salary £23,100 Pro Rata

Duties and Responsibilities
- Supporting the production of appropriate department documentation, such as planning documents and training material.
- Day to day support of our manufacturing cells including continuous improvement of cell layouts and processes.
- Responsible for developing innovative process solutions for implementing continuous improvement.
- Developing ad-hoc skills around tooling design, supporting additive manufacturing (i.e 3D printing) and CAD skills (AutoCAD, CREO).
- Responsibility and opportunity for identifying own development.
- Liaising with other technical departments to resolve manufacturing challenges.

As a minimum requirement you’ll need to be on track to obtain a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Aerospace Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering degree.
