Job Title    Industrial Placement Human Resources 

Location    Frimley (Surrey)

Start Date    23rd June 2025

BAE Systems do offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however it is expected on our Industrial Placement programme you will be required to attend your a minimum of 1 day per week. Please note, this may be subject to change in line with the needs of the business. The hybrid working arrangements including which days you are required to work on site/remotely will be outlined by your line manager.

What you will be doing You will be collaboratively working to enable business success in the specialist areas of Resourcing, Talent, Learning & Development, Graduate Programme Management, Leadership and Performance, through design, implementation and integration of people standards across BAE Systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Integrating a number of key HR activities across Learning, People development, Performance Management, Resourcing, talent Management 
• Co-ordinating Total Talent communication to HR Business stakeholders
• Drafting and producing team presentations
• Facilitating team meetings
• Stakeholder management 

The role will provide the candidate with:

• Exposure across a number of HR areas
• Senior Leadership exposure across BAE Systems
• Exposure to a number of business areas of BAE Systems
• HR development

Skills As a minimum requirement you’ll need to be on track to obtain a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources or Business Management.

To be considered for this role you must be returning to university to complete your degree.

Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks.
