Trans Experiences in the workplace - A Panel Discussion
Are trans people treated differently at work? What experiences do trans people have and what can we learn from this? Can the law help eradicate trans discrimination in the workplace?
It is clear from Stonewall’s research, prepared at the beginning of this year, trans people still face discrimination in the workplace and do not feel comfortable to be themselves. Shockingly the report identifies that ‘one in eight trans employees (12%) have been physically attacked by a colleague or customer in the last year’. What action can be taken to change workplace environments and protect trans people’s rights?
Please join us for a panel discussion on discrimination and trans experiences where we hope to shed light on real life cases and practical solutions.
