Global Transgender Day of Visibility

On April 2nd, 2024, an event of great significance took place to recognize the Global Transgender Day of Visibility, celebrating trans and non-binary individuals while raising awareness about their experiences. This remarkable event was organized by the Global Inclusion & Diversity team in collaboration with our IaMProud Employee Resource Group, aiming to foster inclusivity and understanding within our community.


The highlight of the event was a fireside chat featuring Emma Cusdin and Rachel Reese, both founders of the organization Global Butterflies. Founded in 2015, Global Butterflies has dedicated itself to increasing awareness within the business sector about the trans and non-binary community. Their presence at the event provided a valuable platform for dialogue and education.The fireside chat was an informal yet profound conversation, delving into the intersectional aspects of being trans and non-binary. Emma and Rachel brought their humor, expertise, and passion to the forefront as they shared advice on the importance of trans and non-binary inclusion. Their insights on the steps to foster a more inclusive environment for trans and non-binary individuals left a lasting impact on the attendees. The event garnered significant attention, with approximately 100 employees in attendance.
