Man Injured In “Homophobic or Transphobic” Attack On London Underground

A man in his 20’s was traveling on the Tube when he was attacked in what the British Transport Police (BTP)believe was a “homophobic or transphobic” attack. The victim was hit and suffered a fracture to his face, according to ‘My London’.

The BTP has identified two men they would like to speak to. In a statement from BTP, a spokesperson said: “British Transport Police are today releasing CCTV images following an assault on a Northern Line train in London. The incident happened as the train travelled between Oval and Kennington stations.

“Officers would like to speak to the men in the images who may have information that could help their investigation.”

Anyone who knows them is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 - in both cases quote reference number 352 of 01/03/20.
