About the position
We are considering applications for internship in Paris.
The intern-economist will be mainly in the Valuation & Transfer Pricing practice.
As an intern at NERA Economic Consulting, you are seen as a valuable talent and a fully-fledged team member. You will be involved in the handling of data, the production of models, economic research, the performance of benchmarks and the drafting of reports under the supervision of a project manager. You will gain in-depth knowledge in economic analysis and in the business of the highest-profile multinational enterprises and law firms.
Many of the largest multinational enterprises and leading law firms from around the world have engaged us to create valuable and sustainable solutions for their business needs, to testify as experts in litigation and arbitration cases, and to provide valuation services for corporate restructuring operations. Our team of experts has substantial senior-level experience, and we work collaboratively with multinational clients and their advisors to provide the highest level of advice and support, by applying economics and financial based techniques.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates should have an economics or finance background, exceptional problem solving and analytical skills, be creative, and have outstanding oral and written communication skills in both French and English. Proficiency in Excel is required. A good knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and econometric software programming is considered favourably.
Candidates should be enrolled either in a Masters with a major in Economics and/or Finance from a top-tier Grande Ecole d’Ingénieurs / Ecoles d’Economie / Grande Ecole de Commerce / University or a PhD from a top-tier economics department.
