Placement Specialist
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain carrier contacts within database
- Resource Pro/Placement liaison
- File BORs and track deliverables
- Prepare and review loss summaries
- Generate loss letters
- Pull work comp mods
- Rate, quote and maintain a working knowledge of all rating platforms
- Prospect and renewal proposal support as needed
- Maintain agency management system with policy data needed to obtain quotes or coverages as bound
- Assistance and support to VP-Placement or Placement Manager with projects as needed
- Participate in carrier visits and meetings on and off site
- Assist Placement team members with account filing
- All other duties as assigned
Teamwork
Function as a team member of the Agency to ensure superior service to all MMA Clients. These activities include but are not limited to:
- Works with other marketing personnel on market strategies
- Creates and maintains strong working relationships with carriers and wholesalers
- Supports Placement team members across the region
Requirements
- Property & Casualty License preferred
- Commercial Lines experience highly preferred
- Interpersonal and administrative skills
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- High level of reliability and dependability.
- Able to deal with deadlines and tasks in an organized and prioritized manner.
- High School Diploma Required. Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
