PRIVATE MARKETS INVESTMENT JUNIOR ANALYST

- Mercer Alternatives is a global specialist in alternative investments, including private markets. We offer customized and pooled investment solutions and advisory services for institutional investors across various asset classes, including private equity, private debt, infrastructure, real estate, and hedge funds.
- As a member of the Fund Operations Team you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational aspects of Mercer private markets funds.
- You will be an integral part of the Fund Operations Team located in Zurich and Luxembourg.

We will count on you to:
- Liaise with external stakeholders such as fund administrators, investment managers, and auditors.
- Develop and drive process improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Play an important role in setting up a new team, working closely with colleagues in other locations.
- Review financial statements and fund reports.
- Execute investor capital calls and distributions.
- Contribute to the cash management process of the funds.
- Manage investor communications via client team.
- Assist the onboarding team with new investor closings.
- Support the audit of the funds.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including investment teams, portfolio management, legal & compliance, and technology.
What you need to have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Management, Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar field.
- Basic knowledge of private markets asset classes, including Private Equity, Private Debt, Infrastructure, and Real Estate is preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive and proactive attitude.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-performing team, supporting colleagues while managing. your own tasks and projects.
- Fluent English level.
