Education is NOT Indoctrination

Efforts to create equitable and inclusive learning settings are being severely challenged. Frameworks designed to affirm and support 2SLGBTQ+ youth and youth of colour are being problematized by critics who lack a clear understanding of the benefits of these approaches.

In this interactive workshop, we will explore anti-racist and 2SLGBTQ+-inclusive curricula, examine the roots of the resistance to their use in learning spaces and discover effective ways to respond to questions and concerns from communities.
