September marks Bisexual Visibility Month, a time to amplify the voices of the Bisexual community and enhance our support for them. Join us as we delve into the challenges of biphobia, both within and beyond the LGBTQ+ community, while dispelling myths and harmful stereotypes associated with bisexuality. Our panellists will provide insights on becoming more effective allies and confronting biphobic narratives.

    Cristina Gaviria Beltrán is myGwork’s creative lead artist. In her role, she oversees the visual aspects of the company. She is also dedicated to questioning non-binary visions of sexuality and intimacy in a society which often still seeks to undermine them. She celebrates the liberty of her self-exploration and experimentation and being able to work at a place like myGwork, which acts upon this in all it offers in the corporate world. Her job involves not only a practical approach to visual language, but it is also modelling the behaviour she hopes to see and taking practical steps to act upon concerns and lead transformation.

    Ramyaa Ravichandra has been part of Capgemini since 2019 first starting in Capgemini US and moving to Capgemini UK in 2021 as a Senior User Experience Researcher. Ramyaa currently leads Capgemini UK’s LGBTQIA+ employee resource group OUTFront and is passionate about making an impact on employee wellbeing and belonging through actively hosting events and being a part of policy creation. Ramyaa has a real interest in looking at LGBTQIA+ issues through the lens of intersectionality of culture and sexuality being an Indian Bisexual woman. Ramyaa is originally from Bangalore, India. She grew up in New York, USA and now calls Belfast, Northern Ireland her home where she lives with her partner and two dogs.

    As CEO of media and marketing agency PHD UK, Ali Reed is sponsor of OMG UK’s LGBTQ+ Advisory Group and has championed LGBTQ+ inclusion at Board level - supporting the team’s growth and assisting in the creation of the company’s guide to Bisexuality, an online resource available to all employees. Ali has also taken part in IPA speed mentoring events for queer people in Advertising. For the past two years, PHD UK has been awarded IPA CPD Gold Accreditation for demonstrating a genuine culture of learning, bettering professionalism, development and reputation of the industry. In 2022, PHD UK was ranked the No. 3 media agency in the world in the Warc Media 100 Rankings, making it the highest ranked media agency in both the UK and Europe.

    Samaria "Sam" Chicas joined JPMorganChase in 2017 Through the Software Engineering Program. She is lead for an HR Data Platform application with the mission to improve the HR experience through data modernization. Her passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) has led her to participate in various groups at JPMC including the local Ohio chapter of PRIDE BRG and the Global Bi+ Council. Samaria earned two degrees at Ball State University in Muncie, IN graduating with her bachelor's degree in 2012 and then returning to complete the Center for Information & Communication Sciences master's program in 2017. The CICS program allowed her to make a career pivot into technology, creating opportunities to drive initiatives supporting underrepresented communities in this industry. She is originally from Houston, TX but now calls Columbus, OH home. She lives with her partner Daniel and enjoys visiting museums, watching movies, and playing board games in her free time.
