Fire Protection Risk Engineer - Technical Lead
Role Description
We are looking for a Fire Protection Loss Control Engineer, having a focus on Automatic Sprinkler Protection and other forms of fixed Fire Protection / Suppression, with previous experience in Property Risk Engineering and / or a background in the Automatic Fire Sprinkler industry.
Reporting to the UK Loss Control Engineering, Technical Property Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the UK Loss Control Engineering team, providing loss control expertise, support and assistance to our customers and to assist Allianz underwriting in risk selection and retention.
You'll provide ongoing co-ordination and monitoring of loss prevention activity, the servicing of assigned accounts and loss control survey work. You will develop and maintain professional working relationships with our Underwriting, Distribution, Communications and Claims teams, as well as with our clients and brokers.
Passionate about your fields of expertise, you will track technical developments and share knowledge with colleagues, looking for continual improvements in risk assessment criteria and tools in close alignment with Claims and Underwriting teams.
This is a home-based role, requiring UK wide travel; though primarily covering, the Midlands, North of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Salary Information
Circa: £75,000
Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
