What you do
As a Regional Manager for North of England and Scotland, you'll lead our roadside assistance operations across your region, managing internal teams and external partners to deliver excellent service and strong performance.
You will be responsible for the following teams:
Regional Network Manager
RSA technician specialists
RSA technicians (Branded & Multi-Brand)
In this role, you will:
Drive performance
Own and deliver regional KPIs across internal and external networks
Manage day-to-day roadside assistance operations
Monitor performance, address issues, and ensure optimal technician availability
Use data and insights (MI) to drive decisions and continuous improvement
Oversee technician incentive schemes
Manage external partnerships
Build and manage supplier relationships within your region
Ensure adequate capacity and effective surge plans
Source, onboard, and audit providers in line with company standards
Negotiate costs within agreed frameworks
Maintain accurate network data and ensure compliance
Customer & case management
Work closely with providers to deliver a seamless, high-quality service
Act on customer and stakeholder feedback, driving improvements
Support fair and compliant practices (including FCA guidelines)
Partner with Finance on invoicing and claims decisions
Control costs
Manage claim costs and minimise leakage
Deliver against average job cost targets
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency while maintaining service quality
Stakeholder engagement
Represent the company externally with industry bodies and government agencies
Stay up to date on relevant legislation and share insights internally
Health & safety
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations
Promote safe working practices, conduct risk assessments, and support training needs
Lead and develop your team
Motivate, coach, and develop high-performing teams
Run regular 1:1s, appraisals, and team meetings
Manage performance, including disciplinary processes where needed
Foster a strong customer-focused culture
Administration & continuous improvement
Maintain accurate records and reporting
Ensure all processes and documentation are up to date
Support training, development plans, and quality standards
What you bring
A-level education (or equivalent)
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Motor vehicle technical qualification (City & Guilds Level 2 / NVQ3 or equivalent)
Excellent communication skills
Experience coaching and developing teams
IOSH (or willingness to obtain) Health & Safety qualification
You work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data, analytics and cloud-based tools, using insights responsibly with our standards of data governance, security and ethical use.
