Allianz Re Dublin dac (ARD) is a key subsidiary of Allianz Re and plays a vital role in supporting Allianz Re's global reinsurance operations. Its primary functions include underwriting reinsurance business, managing risk transfer, and optimizing capital efficiency for the Group.
Following the successful implementation of IFRS 17, we are seeking an experienced actuarial professional to join our actuarial team. The position is organisationally located in Dublin with its main focus being to play an integrated role in the global actuarial function of Allianz Re, whilst maintaining a special focus on areas of relevance for Allianz Re Dublin dac.
Role Summary
The position will report to the Head of Actuarial Function of Allianz Re Dublin dac. Beside involvement in all aspects of the quarterly and annual actuarial reporting processes for IFRS 17 and Solvency II, the role will have particular focus on the development and production of IFRS 17 actuarial figures for local reporting. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance, risk and underwriting, to ensure the accurate valuation of insurance liabilities, financial reporting, and alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
