Role overview

The Senior PMO supports large‑scale transformation and delivery programs within Allianz Services by providing strong program governance, planning, reporting and risk management. The role ensures transparency, consistency, and control across initiatives, supporting Product Owners, Project Managers, and leadership in achieving strategic objectives.
Operating in an Agile / hybrid delivery environment, the Senior PMO works closely with Program Leads, Tribe Leads and key stakeholders, reporting to the Program or Transformation Lead within Operations Engineering & Transformation.

 

What you do:

  • Establish and maintain program governance, standards, and PMO frameworks aligned with Allianz policies.
  • Plan, track, and report on program milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and financials.
  • Prepare and consolidate executive‑level reporting, dashboards, and status updates
  • Coordinate cross‑team and cross‑initiative dependencies within the program or portfolio.
  • Support planning activities such as PI planning, roadmap alignment, and delivery reviews.

 

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field
  • 8-12 years of experience in PMO, program management, or delivery governance roles
  • Strong experience supporting complex programs in Agile, SAFe, or hybrid delivery environments
  • Proven ability to manage planning, reporting, risk, and dependency tracking across multiple streams
  • Hands‑on experience with tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, and Excel
  • Good understanding of financial tracking, budgeting, and forecasting in project or program contexts
  • Good level of English (required) with other languages (e.g. Spanish or additional European languages) being a plus
  • We highly welcome candidates with a genuine interest and affinity for Information Technology (IT) and (Generative) Artificial Intelligence (Gen)AI, as these attributes are considered valuable assets to our team.
