Senior Technical Analyst Lead

Position Summary 

Allianz Technical is seeking a seasoned Technical Analyst Lead with deep expertise in life insurance systems and a proven track record of leading teams and managing stakeholder expectations. This senior role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, excels at bridging business and technical needs, and is passionate about delivering robust, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis, resolution, and root cause investigation of critical system issues to ensure financial and operational integrity.
• Oversee enhancements and support for life insurance Policy administration system and other component like Sisense, ETL, SQL.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment between business goals and technical deliverables.
• Guide cross-functional teams through requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Conduct and review unit testing, ensuring high standards of code quality and system reliability.
• Document technical processes and provide user support across the software development lifecycle.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing technical team 

 

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field

 

Must Have Skill Sets

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a System Analyst or Programmer in the insurance domain and DXC platforms such as Life Asia, Integral Life Classic, or Java-based versions. 
•  Extensive hands-on experience with life/health policy administration systems.
• Strong understanding of life insurance business processes and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in Basic Java, Jasper, and reporting tools like Sisense OR any reporting tools
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and drive team performance 

 

Nice to have skill sets

• Proficiency in Basic Java, Jasper, and reporting tools like Sisense.
• Advanced SQL skills with experience in MSSQL and Oracle databases.
• Ability to extract, interpret, and present data for reporting and correspondence.
• Familiarity with LifeAsia, Life400, Life Integral systems, ETL, and MS SQL
