Sr. Specialist - General Accounting (Reporting)

Assisting in month end closing process and handle various account reconciliations, preparing monthly tax reporting and various projects that arising. Support Manager and Senior Accountant in carrying out the responsibilities of accounting team as following detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit regulatory reports in compliance with local financial regulations and industry requirements.
• Assisting month end closing by prepare assigned the journal entries and ensure information related are calculated and entered in an accurate and timely manner.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of statutory filings and regulatory submissions.
• Monitoring and review monthly reports from Caesar System (Invoice and Tax, Earn and Unearned Register, written register, invoice register etc.) and working with related team for solving the error process data entry of that information into GL in monthly basis.
• Maintain general ledger and perform month-end and year-end closing processes within SAP.
• Support system enhancements, data validation, and process improvement initiatives related to SAP and reporting workflows
• Preparing the details of the fully depreciated assets at the end of the year for auditor.
• Handling bank account reconciliations, identifying and resolving any reconciling items, liaising related person to clear the reconciling items in monthly basis.
• Assist in ad-hoc reporting tasks as assigned.

Must Have

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, Finance or related fields.
• 5 years of experience in accounting, with prior audit background preferred
• Able to work in fast-paced and deadline-driven environment to meet tight reporting deadlines
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
• Good knowledge of MS Office, Advance Excel, PowerPoint or data software Power BI or SAP will be advantage
• Strong in details oriented and coordination skills
• Any AI-future skills e.g., ChatGPT, or CoPilot365, will be advantage
