Job role

The Operational Team Leader for Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) is a dual-role position that combines leadership and operational execution. The role involves leading, supervising, and developing a team to ensure high performance, while also driving the operational execution of TPRM processes to meet compliance with Allianz Standards, Policies, and regulatory requirements such as DORA. This position requires a balance of people leadership, operational excellence, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver superior outcomes for the organization.

What you will do

   People Leadership (50%)

  • Lead, develop, and motivate team members in alignment with Allianz People Attributes, leadership values, and guidelines.
  • Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and create individual development plans for direct reports.
  • Prioritize, delegate, and monitor tasks to ensure effective workload management and capacity steering within the team.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, ensuring high levels of engagement and motivation.
  • Act as a bridge between the team and stakeholders, aligning on targets, growth strategies, and task complexities.
  • Oversee HR-related tasks, including recruitment, onboarding, training needs analysis, and facilitating knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards and support employees through change initiatives.
  • Manage team-level financial responsibilities, including FTE billing, expense approvals, and adherence to financial guidelines.


    Operational Execution (50%)

  • Oversee the implementation of Allianz Third Party Risk Management Standards and Outsourcing Policy to ensure compliance with DORA and other regulatory requirements.
  • Manage vendor service classification, evaluate vendor security practices, and oversee risk and control assessments for the vendor population.
  • Track and monitor TPRM deliverables, ensuring timely completion of actions and proactive communication with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment and seamless execution of TPRM processes.
  • Prepare and deliver TPRM-related reports and dashboards for senior management, ensuring data accuracy and actionable insights.
  • Support remediation actions to address compliance gaps and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and improve operational processes using internal tools and platforms (e.g., ServiceNow), ensuring efficiency and quality.
  • Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement of TPRM processes, aligning with business goals and regulatory standards

What you bring
     

  • Relevant skills in people management & TPRM background and understanding;     
  • Proficiency in MS Excel & MS PowerPoint;     
  • Strong organizational, planning and structuring skills;     
  • Fluent in English, must be able to hold presentations and lead meetings in English;     
  • Experience in working in multicultural environments, especially in joint off shoring & on shoring delivery
    models.
