The role is responsible for managing MidCorp Multinational portfolio and enabling the sales development for Multinational commercial lines in all distribution channels, including the implementation and execution of the underwriting strategy for multinational programs in Singapore, driving sustainable growth and profitability for the company.

 

Responsibilities:

• Leverage and enhance the Multinational Program offering to achieve profit and growth objectives.
• Facilitate LAP placements (both renewals and new businesses) with other local offices within Allianz Group.
• Provide updates on legal and regulatory compliance issues around the world to internal stakeholders.
• Manage and execute Liability Underwriting activities in an efficient and effective manner including: risk submission; completeness of data; analysis and assessment of the risk; coverage structure and design; rating and pricing; negotiation and binding.
• Work with Distribution Channels to identify support areas and maintain collaborative relationships to ensure service delivery.
• Support cross-sell opportunities and market penetration objectives with local offices within Allianz Group.
• Develop tools for efficient prospecting & quoting processes and develop formal Standard Operating Procedures for international placements.
• Advise on underwriting and pricing of global exposures in coordination with local offices within Allianz Group.
• Engage multinational partners to build comprehensive insurance programs that meet local requirements.
• Serve as a trusted advisor for external and internal stakeholder.
• Improve back-end infrastructure processes on post-transaction.
• Coordinate with Claims for foreign claims assistance.
• Assist Reinsurance Accounting with billing and payment reconciliation.

 

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in the P&C industry with brokers, agency and FA business
• 2+ years of experience in the Liability Multinational programs preferred
• Local technical underwriting knowledge on commercial P&C market in Singapore required
• Strong business development capabilities
• Thorough technical understanding of clauses, policy wordings, underwriting philosophies and pricing mechanisms
• Any AI-future skills e.g., ChatGPT, or CoPilot 365, will be an advantage to all job roles
