Position Responsibilities:
Drive the design, permitting, and administrating the construction of Amazon's Data Centers. Maintain a close connection with project details and drive project outcomes. Provide cross-disciplinary design direction taking into consideration schedule, cost, and quality requirements. Influence internal stakeholders, internal customers, and external consultants to address project specific design changes. Communicate effectively with leadership and external project partners, including the creation, tracking and reporting of metrics related to schedule, cost, and quality throughout the lifecycle of the project. Improve design delivery for an entire region, while establishing design procedures and protocols for the development of future systems. Collaborate with cross-functionally within the organization, with external engineering resources and regulatory agencies.
40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $157,300/year to $212,800/year.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or a related field and five years of progressive post baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have five years of experience in the following skill(s): (1) demonstrated knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or control systems utilized in Data Centers; (2) providing technical leadership and project management for all aspects of the facility design-to-operations lifecycle, construction implementation, and interconnections between design decisions and long-term operational impacts; (3) demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts verbally and in writing to internal and external stakeholders; and (4) managing all aspects of highly-technical projects including scope, schedule, budget (contracts and funding), quality, and risk. Domestic and/or international travel up to 25% to perform role responsibilities may be required.#0000
