DESCRIPTION:
AWS Finance seeks a Finance Manager to join the Networking Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with Network Engineering and Supply Chain teams supporting key investment decisions, developing controllership around various FP&A processes and provide valuable finance support for new initiatives.

You will work closely with business finance teams and senior leadership across AWS Infrastructure and will be leading end to end processes around key planning and reporting cycles.
Key job responsibilities
Facilitating financial review meetings with senior business and finance leadership to support decision making.
Maintain, and improve, existing finance processes to ensure data integrity, efficient and insightful analysis.
Play a critical role in cost management, controllership, business case development, decision-making, and metrics development.
Uses solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence leaders.
Drivers controllership around new initiatives such as Generative AI investments, automation projects and technology transition initiatives reporting.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- 5+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- 5+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experienceThe base salary range for this position is listed below.
