The Infrastructure Delivery team is responsible for the scaling and physical deployment of new Data Center Infrastructure. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Engineer to join the growing team. The ideal candidate is highly motivated individual with a willingness to learn and upskill. The candidate must be able to perform repetitive tasks and adhere to standard processes and best practices. The successful candidate will be working in a team environment and must be able to communicate and promote cross-team functionality.
This position has a physical component and may require working in cramped spaces or elevated locations.
Key job responsibilities
· Adhere to security and safety best practices in the Data Center.
· Installation and testing of copper and Fiber Optic cabling.
· Basic build and troubleshooting of network devices.
· Creating/attaching labels and barcodes.
· Regularly lift 15kg or move objects into position.
· Regularly work at heights and from ladders.
· Managing inventory of related materials.
· Adhering to defined escalation processes and standard operating procedures.
· Work in noisy areas with hotter and colder temperatures than standard office environmental conditions.
· Ability to travel within geographical work area is required, some travel outside traditional work area may be requested.
* Climbing Step Platform Ladder or working from EWP.
* Able to lift 15kg regularly during the day.
* Demonstrate Fibre/copper background.
* Understanding of cabling procedure.
A day in the life
A normal day involve working inside a Data Center installing network equipment and cables, managing vendors, and negotiating deadlines with program managers. You will be responsible for running multiple projects at the same time.
As part of the journey, you will have mentoring, coaching and career development opportunities as you work closely with AWS Network Engineering & Network Technical Project Manager teams to ensure fast, smooth roll out of new designs and products.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
- 1+ years of computer networking experience
- High school or equivalent diploma
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
