Key job responsibilities
- Lead and Motivate: Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing strategic guidance and professional development
- Develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs and facility compliance strategies
- Act as an ambassador for safety within the team and to promote safe working across the site
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot complex facility systems and automated equipment
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships across organizational levels and participate in strategic leadership meetings
A day in the life
Your day will be a dynamic blend of hands-on technical work and strategic leadership. You'll lead a team of technicians (fitters and electricians), troubleshoot complex equipment challenges, and develop proactive maintenance strategies that keep our cutting-edge systems performing at their peak
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in team leadership
- A full Engineering Apprenticeship qualified to a minimum of Certificate III or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject formally recognised in Australia including valid licence when required (i.e. unrestricted electrical licence).
- Experience working in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance
- Relevant experience in automation or material handling equipment environments
- Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
