DESCRIPTION:
Join Amazon's growing RME (Reliability, Maintenance & Engineering) team as a Maintenance Supervisor at our Ravenhall site, leading a team of 6 Technicians (fitters and electricians).
Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team is central to Amazon's commitment to innovation. As Amazon evolves and adapts, this team makes sure that the tools and technologies we use do as well.
As a Maintenance Supervisor you'll help us stay one step ahead, adopting the latest technologies and identifying new and efficient ways of working. In this role, you'll pay close attention to our processes to help maintain our high standards, and you'll put in place upgrades to take that standard even higher.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead and Motivate: Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing strategic guidance and professional development
- Develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs and facility compliance strategies
- Act as an ambassador for safety within the team and to promote safe working across the site
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot complex facility systems and automated equipment
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships across organizational levels and participate in strategic leadership meetings.
A day in the life
Your day will be a dynamic blend of hands-on technical work and strategic leadership. You'll lead a team of technicians (fitters and electricians), troubleshoot complex equipment challenges, and develop proactive maintenance strategies that keep our cutting-edge systems performing at their peak.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in contract management
- Experience in team leadership
- Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks
- Relevant experience in automation or material handling equipment environments
- Experience working in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance
- A full Engineering Apprenticeship qualified to a minimum of Certificate III or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject formally recognised in Australia including valid licence when required (i.e. unrestricted electrical licence)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
