DESCRIPTION:
Amazon is seeking a Manager, Public Policy to lead external engagement across a large and diverse portfolio of trade associations, think tanks, and nonprofits in Washington, DC. This is a fast-paced role spanning a wide range of policy issues. You will closely with colleagues across the public policy team to align external engagement with business priorities.
Key job responsibilities
- Build and manage relationships with trade associations, think tanks, and nonprofits across the ideological spectrum.
- Design and execute policy campaigns, aligning internal teams and external partners around shared objectives.
- Represent Amazon at conferences, coalition meetings, and stakeholder engagements.
- Develop talking points, coalition letters, and advocacy materials
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 8+ years of public policy experience
- An ability and desire to travel is required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience building and managing relationships with trade associations, think tanks, or nonprofits or equivalent experience within such an organization managing corporate partnershipsThe base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
