We are seeking an OTR Manager, based in Guadalajara, MX, to join the Amazon Logistics team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the delivery station, on-the-road operations that focus on the delivery of Amazon orders directly to customers. You will lead a team of Process Assistants, Associates and Delivery Service Partners in daily activities, including operational execution, performance reviews, training sessions, and communication with stakeholders and senior leadership.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
-Promoting a culture of safety
-Ensuring that people are properly trained and their needs are addressed so they can focus on their jobs
-Supporting and assigning job duties to process assistants and associates
-Adapting to sudden changes and growth according to operational necessities, due to the nature of Amazon's business
-Tracking and monitoring sorting operations and driver dispatch
-Helping with in-station operations: receiving, scanning, lifting, and moving shipments up to 25 kg

Key job responsibilities
-Manage staff, resources, consumables, and key metrics for the delivery station.
-Coordinate operative meetings, communicate with support areas, handle proper escalations, and analyze data.
-Plan shifts, audit plans, and execute daily operations.

A day in the life
1. Conducts Gemba walks and audit plans
2. Manage shift start-ups
3. Execute safety audits, walks, and meetings
4. Verify daily operations plan, volume, attendance, and route planning
5. Engage with associates, completes performance audits, and conduct quality inspections
6. Complete reports (Daily Ops Plan, Daily Call Outs, End of Shift Report) and address any discrepancies in reporting tools
7. Holds end-of-shift meetings with leadership team to review performance opportunities and establish action plans
8. Perform shift handoff to incoming Shift Manager (in person or email) and preview next-day plans

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- 1+ years of employee and performance management experience
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Can push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shifts

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- 2+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
