Program Manager, Amazon Logistics

DESCRIPTION:

Amazon is seeking an exceptional Program Manager to join our Last Mile Logistics team and help shape the future of delivery operations.

Lead end-to-end Project Management of innovative solutions to enhance our customer delivery experience. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on operational leadership to drive continuous improvement across our logistics network.



Key job responsibilities


Lead end-to-end project management, guiding initiatives from concept through implementation.
Build and maintain strong partnerships across internal and external stakeholders, utilizing advanced negotiation and communication skills to drive results.
Create and execute comprehensive network expansion strategies, including detailed roadmaps and implementation plans.
Navigate and thrive in ambiguous situations, making autonomous decisions while keeping stakeholders informed.
Strong self-starter mentality with proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
Leverage data analytics to optimize performance and guide strategic decision-making.
Provide leadership oversight for multiple locations while ensuring consistent operational excellence and compliance with Amazon standards.



A day in the life

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on ongoing projects and initiatives.
Travel and Meet with delivery service partners to review initiatives discuss strategic.
Generation documentation for project definition and budget approval.
Analyze delivery performance data from the previous day and create action plans for any areas needing improvement.
Meet with delivery service partners to review performance and discuss strategic improvements.
Participate in regional operations calls to align on network-wide initiatives and progress.
Plan and strategize for upcoming peak periods or special operations.
Document standard of operational process and initiatives playbooks.

We're looking for individuals who can operate independently in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable making decisions with incomplete information. Our team members must be able to navigate ambiguity while maintaining focus on delivering results.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Master's degree
- PMP certificate
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation logistics
