DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for an experienced public policy professional to advise Amazon's consumer businesses in Poland on regulatory and economic developments. You will be a strong advisor to the business, approach complex policy challenges with regulatory insight and strong judgement. You will have strong project management and communications skills.
The minimum base pay salary for this position is listed below. Amazon reserves the right to offer a higher base salary, depending on the candidate's skills, competencies, and experience. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include further pay components such as a sign on payment and the eligibility to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA. Your recruiting team will share final base pay and any applicable total compensation elements depending on skills and requirements. Company discretionary, supplementary benefits apply subject to further terms, including pension plans, health insurance, life and disability insurance, business travel insurance, MultiSport card, employee discount code and program (EDC/Extras), commuter benefits where applicable, and the Employee Assistance Program (private and confidential counselling and referral service to support health and well-being). The minimum base pay for this position is PLN 16,708 gross monthly.
Key job responsibilities

As Public Policy Manager Poland, you will lead advocacy efforts, outreach programs, partnerships, and initiatives in support of these objectives. You will work with a wide range of policymakers, industry organizations, and non-governmental organizations across policy issues including but not limited to e-commerce and SME-related topics, consumer policy, tax and payments policy, privacy and economic development. You will coordinate across Amazon's business locally, at EU level and globally, to develop and implement positioning and engagement strategies to support Amazon's business priorities. You will manage and drive complex projects and provide clear guidance, including in situations of high ambiguity.
You will have an astute understanding of the regulatory and economic environment and stakeholders in Poland. You will coordinate Amazon's engagement with relevant industry associations and wider coalitions and manage consultancy support. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA/BS in public policy, economics, business, law or related field
- Extensive public policy and advocacy experience, e.g. within corporate public policy and government relations, in public administration, trade association or non-governmental organization
- Written and spoken fluency in English and Polish
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
