DESCRIPTION:
Amazon's Workforce Staffing organization is seeking an analytically driven Risk Mitigation Lead to own EU-level risk mitigation activities within the Risk Mitigation Inspection (RMI) team. In this role, you will serve as the strategic link between risk identification and execution- translating workforce exposure into timely, accountable mitigation actions across EU markets. You will own funnel reporting, lead deep dive investigations, and drive cross-functional collaboration with other teams to protect Amazon's staffing operations.
Key job responsibilities
•Oversee and manage risk mitigation tasks across multiple projects, monitoring workload trends and efficiency
•Represent the team on Tactical Risk Management (TRM) and Weekly Business Reviews (WBR) call, translating risk signals into actionable stakeholder communications
•Ensure accurate and timely submission of funnel inputs at EU level, maintaining data integrity across assigned markets
•Conduct deep dive investigations across EU within GP scope, identifying root causes of recurring fill rate risks and translating findings into process improvement recommendations
•Analyse Global Risk Inspection's (GRI) TRM data to assess risk levels against defined tolerance thresholds, ensuring mitigation actions flow into central teams within predefined SLAs
•Generate and distribute candidate and application risk reports, identifying patterns and systemic risks that require escalation or process intervention
•Collaborate cross-functionally with centralised teams (ACCS, CO, FER) to ensure risk mitigation actions are executed effectively and within SLA
•Act as Subject Matter Expert at country level for projects and initiatives, supporting RMI and other markets with specialist knowledge of TRM workflows
•Own process review, documentation with continuous improvement initiatives, developing best practice approaches to candidate management and reducing operational waste across the pillar
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in workforce staffing, operations, or a data-driven coordination role at leadership level
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret fill rate data, identify trends, and escalate risks proactively
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment
- Demonstrated ownership and accountability- you follow through on commitments and raise blockers early
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high output quality
