DESCRIPTION:

As a Sr. Manager for the US Agency Development team, you will report to an Agency Group Head, and leverage your extensive experience in agency partnerships and team leadership to develop, coach, and motivate a high-performing team of Agency Development Managers. Your team will be responsible for managing strategic relationships with a major holding company and their operating agencies, with a particular focus on video advertising solutions and supporting trading agreements.

You will implement both strategic and tactical approaches to drive team performance, developing comprehensive partnership plans for each agency relationship while ensuring individual team members are equipped to execute at the highest level. Your role will be crucial in scaling Amazon Ads' agency partnerships and achieving ambitious revenue targets through effective team leadership.

As a people manager within Amazon Ads, you will work closely with senior leadership to shape the future of our agency partnerships strategy. You will leverage your deep industry experience to guide your team through complex negotiations, custom solutions development, and strategic partnership initiatives, while maintaining a strong focus on talent development and team culture.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of agency development professionals managing relationships with major holding companies and their operating agencies
- Drive strategic planning and execution to deliver on trading agreements, upfront deals, video advertising growth initiatives and adtech/programmatic goals
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with Account Management, Ad Tech, Global, Twitch, Sports, and other internal teams to deliver comprehensive agency solutions
- Effective January 2, 2025, the in-office expectation at Amazon is five days a week on days when you are not traveling

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in a people management role, leading teams and growing organizations
- Experience building and maintaining C-level client relationships
- Experience with high-level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management
- 10+ years of digital ad sales as an individual contributor selling performances based advertising or similiar offering experience
- 7+ years of B2B sales experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience leading projects across multiple stakeholders
- Knowledge of the US media landscape
- Experience presenting to SVP and C-Level
- 10+ years of advanced TV/OTT advertising experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
