We are seeking a customer-obsessed Senior Product Manager to drive for our Prime Member Acquisition strategy in Japan. Amazon Prime's vision is to be the Earth's largest and most beloved membership program. As a Product Manager, you will own end to end solutions to discover and address customers' pain points, and be the center of innovation for both Amazon Prime JP/WW to delight our customers with the value of Prime benefits.

The PM is responsible for building and launching capabilities that improve the experience for millions of Amazon Prime customers in Japan: own and manage our local innovation roadmap with JP Prime tech partners, and collaborate with WW Prime teams to launch new capabilities that drive membership growth. We expect this leader to be obsessed about customer needs, invent big ideas to bring new experiences to them, and effectively work with partners and stakeholders both locally and globally.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable working in a highly ambiguous environment. We look for hands-on experiences in customer facing product management, a proven track record of delivering results, and a highly effective leader in influencing across teams and varying levels of leadership.


Key job responsibilities
•Own the roadmap and vision of CX initiatives to promote Prime membership growth:
•Collaborate with JP Prime tech teams to build and enhance to local CX features;
•Influence and partner with WW Prime teams to deliver capabilities for JP customers;
•Set mechanisms to measure the quality and performance of Prime customer experience and member growth.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience in using statistical analysis to identify issues or opportunities for improvement
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience owning technology products
- Experience in areas such as market research, statistics, finance or qualitative/quantitative research
- MBA
- Speak, write, and read fluently in Japanese at a business level or above (N1+)
