DESCRIPTION:

AWS Infrastructure Supply Chain delivers all AWS's infrastructure safely, securely, optimally, and reliably. The supply chain technology landscape encompasses various systems including Product Life Management, Inventory, Planning, fulfillment, infrastructure placement, and Datacenter power optimization. Our systems service many internal and external teams including Hardware design teams, procurement teams, vendors, internal services, data center planning and data center operations. These systems are the heart of the end-to-end lifecycle from design to retirement, managing billions in infrastructure assets and enabling AWS's continuous global expansion.

Key job responsibilities
We are seeking a Sr. Principal Product Manager to drive the technical vision and strategy for our next-generation supply chain automation systems. This role represents a unique opportunity to shape the future of AWS's infrastructure supply chain, working at unprecedented scale and complexity. You will partner with senior leadership across multiple VP organizations to influence cross-organizational product strategy. Your scope will include driving large-scale product roadmap transformations, defining product vision and aligning on 1P vs. 3P strategy.

A day in the life
This Sr. Principal PMT will need to understand the nuances of the business and balance conflicting stakeholder objectives while maintaining a high bar for customer experience, business metrics, and feature velocity. You will be a business leader on our most demanding and most ambiguous cross-cutting products, exerting the voice of the customer and the needs of the business with influence over multiple teams. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in the career development of others, actively mentoring individuals and the community.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
15+ years of industry experience in software development or Product management
Experience with high-performance, highly-available, and scalable distributed systems
Experience owning product strategy
Track record of driving technical decisions across multiple teams and organizations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
Manufacturing supply chain systems experience
Experience with external/vendor software systems offerings in supply chain.
Knowledge in data center infrastructure and architecture

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
