We are looking for a Senior Product Manager - Technical who possesses strong product fundamentals, technical depth, and a passion to make a profound impact for our customers. You will leverage your technical and product management skills to lead large, critical projects involving distributed systems, generative AI integration, real-time personalization, and multi-channel orchestration. You will collaborate with diverse business and technical partners-including applied scientists, engineering teams, merchandisers, and marketing stakeholders-to shape our technology and define product strategy.
You are a strong product leader who excels at working backwards from the customer to define products, prioritize features, and communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences. You have a strong sense of ownership, passion to provide great customer experiences, and excellent judgement even in high-pressure situations. You thrive in ambiguity, making sound decisions with incomplete information while balancing speed with long-term quality.
We need a leader who will help us define the future of Amazon's automated marketing and merchandising. Experience with high-availability systems, personalization platforms, recommendation engines, or marketing automation will be highly valuable. Key job responsibilities
1. Owning strategic planning to achieve business objectives and define product vision, experimentation roadmap, and comprehensive balanced KPIs to measure impact and progress.
2. Working closely with software managers, engineers, applied scientists, and business stakeholders across different teams on a daily basis to define system architecture, define user stories, and discuss business and technical trade-offs.
3. Organizing customer research and studies to inform new tech investments.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
