DESCRIPTION:

Amazon Leo is seeking an exceptional Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead our aeronautical enterprise services initiative. In this high-impact role, you'll be the customer facing program lead integrating between our aviation customers and internal engineering, product management and business leaders, ensuring our enterprise solutions meet the rigorous demands of the aeronautical market.

As the Senior TPM, you will track the end-to-end delivery of Amazon Leo's aviation products and services to customers in the region, contributing to the mission from pre-sales through launch and sustainment. You'll help establish the frameworks, processes, and program governance structures that enable seamless technical onboarding for aviation customers while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.


This position may require access to information, technology, or hardware that is subject to export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment in this position is contingent upon obtaining any required export licenses or other approvals from the United States government. As such, the successful candidate must be eligible to obtain any necessary export licenses or approvals based on their nationality, citizenship, and any other factors considered by the applicable export control regulations.


Key job responsibilities
Strategic Program Leadership
• Maintain comprehensive program governance, delivering accurate, timely reporting to both customer and Amazon Leo leadership
• Define and track key performance indicators that balance customer satisfaction with product and operational excellence
• Lead strategic program reviews, coordination meetings, and workshops with internal stakeholders, customers, airframe manufacturers, and industry partners

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
• Engage with customers during pre-sales to deeply understand requirements and translate them into actionable technical and operational plans
• Integrate customer voice into tools, mechanisms, and processes that drive superior service delivery
• Participate in executive-level status reviews with Amazon Leo leadership and customers to ensure successful service rollout and adoption

Technical & Regulatory Coordination
• Coordinate across company departments, vendors, airframe manufacturers, and partners to prepare technical, compliance, and commercial artifacts for licenses, and regulatory approvals.
• Manage relationships with MROs and customer organizations to establish frameworks for smooth installation and integration of delivered products

Supply Chain & Operations
• Partner with supply chain teams to ensure on-time production deliveries that meet customer commitments
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities, establishing best practices that scale across the organization
• Oversee the complete service delivery plan from product definition through the entire lifecycle of the Amazon Leo aeronautical program


A day in the life
You will be the central point of coordination between customer and our product, engineering, and support organizations. Your day involves strategic planning, stakeholder alignment, technical problem-solving, and driving execution across multiple complex workstreams. You'll navigate ambiguous situations with confidence, set clear strategic direction, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver world-class aviation connectivity solutions.

About the team
As member of Global Enterprise Services (GES), you will be joining a customer-facing team that serves as the technical execution engine for direct and indirect Enterprise customers, providing the hands-on expertise required to translate customer commitments into fully integrated, production-ready solutions. The GES team implement services for all of the customers globally. As a member of the GES team, you will work with other internal and external-facing roles in Product, Engineering, Customer Delivery and Customer Care.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
- Experience conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences
- Demonstrated experience managing complex aeronautical programs with multiple stakeholders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering measurable results in an agile environment
- Deep knowledge of all phases of the aviation product lifecycle: design, development, testing, certification, production, maintenance, and support
- Direct experience managing the complete lifecycle of STC (Supplemental Type Certificate) and line-fit programs
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to synthesize multiple requirements and create elegant solutions to complex problems
- Experience with satellite communications systems or connectivity solutions
