The Supply Chain Manager, Air Expansion will be responsible for defining air solutions, requirements, setting strategy, and tirelessly championing the needs of our customers. This position will require strong communication & collaboration with internal as well as external stakeholders across multiple geographies. The position will need to understand the network nuances of a specific geography, identify opportunities to modify or build Amazon Air standard tools and processes and drive standardization of global Air Transportation mechanisms. The candidate will work closely with the Technology and Research Science teams to design, test and productionize technology solutions that will support effective management of network in terms of Safety, Planning, Operation, Service Performance and Disruption Management.

The successful candidate must have exceptional problem solving skills, strong business judgment, and demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams. The candidate will need to quickly identify key success metrics and work cross-functionally to implement solutions that effectively exceed targets. We are looking for a proven ability to execute both strategically and tactically, and someone who is excited to take on new, ambiguous projects that will be industry defining.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
•Serving as a key leader of the Air Expansion team
•Creating a air solution strategy and managing the entire implementation from strategic planning to tactical execution
•Defining and writing solution documents and gaining buy-in of stakeholders and senior leadership
•Managing and coordinating multiple project assignments that continuously improve customers' experience and develop best in class air transportation capabilities
•Establishing goals and reviewing metrics to identify opportunities and deliver success
•Identifying and communicating roles, responsibilities and desired outcomes to cross-functional project teams to gain buy-in and deliver to product schedules
•Representing the company with partners, and work across all relevant cross-functional areas to guarantee effective communication, implementation, and execution of objectives.
International travel required up to 20% of the time

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- 5+ years of supply chain experience
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field
- Excellent written and verbal communications to technical and non-technical stakeholders and experience presenting to senior leadership
- Entrepreneurial instincts with a clear bias for informed action and a track record of leading new initiatives with limited resources and support
- 5+ years of experience in developing or managing complex logistical products/processes for Air transportation solution

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
