DESCRIPTION:
The WW Supply Planning Manager owns supply planning execution for a portfolio of Ring products, from production forecasting through finished goods delivery. This role is the operational core of the supply chain, ensuring the right inventory is in the right place at the right time while maintaining program-level KPIs and driving continuous improvement.
Key job responsibilities
Execute production strategies across the product lifecycle, including new product builds, weekly production forecasts, and long-range planning inputs.
Own and maintain supply planning KPIs (ie: weeks of cover, in-stock rates, air mix, and EOL inventory).
Develop and maintain production schedules using capacity plans, material constraints, and demand forecasts.
Monitor demand changes and assess supply impact; communicate risks and gaps to stakeholders proactively.
Place weekly purchase orders to meet Global Allocation requirements in Amazon systems, collaborating with regional allocation planners.
Generate and distribute supply planning reports (air mix, WOC, in-stock availability, etc.).
Support cost and risk mitigation efforts including transportation mode optimization, inventory carrying cost reduction, and waste/scrap minimization.
Use AI-powered analytics to surface supply chain insights and support more informed decision making.
Build and maintain automated solutions for routine planning tasks and reporting.
Leverage AI for scenario planning to accelerate and improve decision quality.
Apply data-driven approaches to inventory and production optimization.
A day in the life
The role focuses on production planning, continuous improvement, cross-functional relationship management, cost reduction, and purchase order management for Ring devices and accessories. A day/week in the life will often involve the below activities:
Analyzing weekly demand fluctuations and the corresponding supply impact.
Monitoring planned vs. actual production metrics.
Planning the proper inventory needed to be allocated across different sales channels and regions.
Communicating supply constraints to stakeholders (sales, marketing, demand, category, leadership).
Leveraging AI to improve ways of working and to help drive speed and efficiency.
Making data-driven decisions and effectively report on individual and team KPIs.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- 2+ years of supply chain experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experienceThe base salary range for this position is listed below.
