About Us:

At Booking.com, data drives our decisions. Technology is at our core. And innovation is everywhere. But our company is more than datasets, lines of code or A/B tests. We're the thrill of the first night in a new place. The excitement of the next morning. The friends you encounter. The journeys you take. The sights you see. And the memories you make. Through our products, partners and people, we make it easier for everyone to experience the world!

Role Overview:

The Graphic Designer for Booking Ads serves as the chaperone of the team's visual identity, taking full ownership of how the team communicates visually across all internal and external platforms. This is not a "production-only" role; it is a strategic bridge between commercial objectives and product development.
You will be responsible for creating high-fidelity visual narratives that showcase our product's value to partners. Working side-by-side with UX Designers and the Video team, you will ensure our storytelling is polished, empathetic, and unified. A key part of this role is the willingness to integrate AI tools (like Nano Banana) to create scalable, maintainable resources that empower our commercial stakeholders.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Visual Identity Chaperone:
Own the visual identity of the Booking Ads team. Ensure a premium and consistent brand presence across all touchpoints, from high-stakes partner pitches to public-facing moments like trade shows and industry events, including integration into media kits, pitch decks, flyers, booth design, stage branding, and event activations.
  • Strategic Storytelling:
Transform technical product features and commercial data into compelling visual stories. Review and elevate commercial decks and communication materials beyond standard slide formats.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    UX/Product:

    Video/Motion:
Partner with the Video team on motion design projects (e.g. high-impact destination campaigns) to bring our value proposition to life through movement.
    PMM & Commercial:
Collaborate with Product Marketing Managers and Commercial team to ensure sales enablement tools are both visually stunning and strategically aligned with partner needs.
  • AI Integration & Scalability:
Proactively use and integrate AI tools (e.g. Nano Banana) into your workflow. Build and maintain a library of scalable assets that empower commercial teams to have some autonomy while maintaining brand standards.
  • Asset Creation:
Design a comprehensive range of collateral, including digital sales materials, master templates, interactive experiences, and physical assets for events (signage, booths, and swag).

Role Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Graphic Design Excellence:
3-5 years of experience in brand or graphic design, preferably within a B2B or tech environment.
Demonstrated proficiency in graphic design software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Figma).
Knowledge of brand design, campaign creative, and visual storytelling.
Strong foundation in typography, layout, composition, and color theory.
Strong foundation in brand design, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
  • Technical & AI Literacy:
A keen interest and demonstrated ability to work with AI design tools to increase efficiency and creative output.
Familiarity with motion graphics, video editing, or interactive web design is a significant plus.
  • Core Competencies:
Empathy: A central skill required to understand the needs of both the commercial team and the end partners.
Ownership: A "chaperone" mindset-taking responsibility for the quality and consistency of the team's output.
  • Strategic Thinking:
Ability to interpret complex briefs and provide two-way feedback in design critiques with UX and product peers.
Knowledge of common digital marketing mediums and channels, including social media, motion and film, interactive experiences and UX.

Able to flex communication style and work with colleagues from different backgrounds and working styles.
