Job Description

The Administrator- Warehouse Automation is responsible for assisting and facilitating in case picking and sorting within an automated environment using computers, software, and complex machines.

What your day will look like:

  • Support cross-functional duties for other departments as assigned
  • Operate VPS Vertique Picking & loading software within the automation environment 
  • Maintain proper function of certain machines through advanced problem-solving skills and logic to include simple data manipulation
  • Troubleshoot system for simple malfunctions
  • Assist in physical manipulation of product within the system as needed to facilitate the successful resolution of system errors and communicate requests to other personnel
  • Perform general housekeeping duties
  • Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management

What you need to succeed:

  • Minimum of 18 years old
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
  • Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
  • Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
  • Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work with all functional team members
  • One-year certificate from college or technical school; or 2 - 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to pass an Excel competency test 
  • Ability to demonstrate analytical, adaptability, assertiveness, business acumen, customer service, decisiveness, independence, initiative, innovation, problem solving, project management, quality management, strategic thinking, technical, and teamwork skills 
  • Knowledge of package dimensions, descriptions, and SKU numbers preferred

Physical Requirements

Position will be required to comply with the CCBCU Personal Protective Equipment Program. Position is required to wear safety toed shoes when performing the following tasks: Operating Powered Industrial Equipment or Working in an Area where Powered Industrial Equipment is in use, Fleet Maintenance, Working with Palletized Product, Use of Hand Trucks/Dollies to Deliver Product, Cooler Services, etc.
