Summary

 The Shipping and Receiving Dock Clerk is responsible for all dock movements and supporting the Supply Chain Inventory Supervisor at Liberty Production Center. This includes the following: daily receipt of raw material and cleaning, weekly inventory counts and monthly inspections.

Responsibilities

• Daily - Receive raw materials/Fed Ex/UPS & other deliveries, perform yard check, prepare pallet/ shell/blind counts, inspect docked trailers for a jack stand/chocks/gladhand lock and manage the production yard
• Weekly - Perform inventory counts (labels, concentrate, etc.), schedule recycle trailer pick-up & drop-off, and enter SAP PO data
• Monthly - Perform inspections and attend Safety Committee meetings
• Coordinate all yard trailer movements
• Coordinate movement of raw material from yard to the production floor to ensure there is no stoppage of production
• Maintain dock and yard cleanliness (GMP)
• Work closely with raw material forklift driver, Inventory Planner Supervisor and Manager
• Perform other tasks as needed
• Forklift certified

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• PC applications skill
• Transportation/inventory experience preferred
• Good customer service skills
• Strong Math skills (count and reconcile inventory)
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
