The Commissioning Engineer, Food and Beverage Systems is responsible for leading the installation, start up, commissioning, and optimization of Pall food and beverage systems at customer sites worldwide. This role is hands-on and field-based, with a strong focus on system performance, advanced troubleshooting, and customer training.

This position reports to the Global Commissioning Leader, Food and Beverage and is part of the Pall Food and Beverage Global Systems team. The role is well suited for an experienced engineer based in Korea who is comfortable working internationally and independently in customer environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning, start up, and performance optimization of Pall food and beverage systems at customer sites globally
• Ensure systems meet all technical, safety, and performance requirements prior to handover
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and structured root cause analysis on complex filtration and process issues
• Provide practical, hands-on training to customer operators, engineers, and maintenance teams
• Act as Pall’s technical representative on site, building customer confidence and long-term relationships
• Collaborate with global engineering, project management, and service teams to share lessons learned and improve standards

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Brewing Science, or a related technical discipline
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in filtration and separation systems
• Strong preference for experience within the food and beverage industry, ideally brewing environments
• Proven experience with commissioning, start up, or field engineering activities in customer plants
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently on complex systems
• Fluency in English is required; Korean language skills are expected, and additional languages are an advantage

Travel and Physical Requirements

• Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 80 percent
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 32 kg at customer sites

Preferred Experience

• Commissioning experience in breweries, dairies, or protein processing plants
• Experience working on international projects with multicultural teams
• Familiarity with automation and control platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell, or Schneider Electric
