The Material Handler is responsible for receiving and verifying incoming materials, equipment and other items used in the production process. Supply materials to manufacturing lines based on the production plan. Store and put away materials on warehouse shelves as well as perform Cycle and physical inventory of materials.

This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is part of the Production team located in Tijuana, Baja California, México and will be an on-site role.  

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Receive materials from suppliers verifying against invoice, packing list, purchase order.
• Store received merchandise and materials on warehouse shelves following the operation procedure.
• Load and unload merchandise from transport using mechanical, hydraulic or forklift equipment.

The essential requirements of the job include

• Middle school certificate.
• Minimum 1- 2 years of experience in warehouse area.
• Experience in materials control.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

• Travel: Not required
• Work environment: Warehouse / confined stockroom.
• Physical stress required: Operation of forklift, visual and manual to lift up to 10 kg without aid of equipment.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Knowledge of electronic warehouse system.
• Knowledge of 5’s
• Use of cargo equipment (skid)
