ICP Residential Administrator

Salary: £25,007 – £30,173 Annually

Right now, we are looking for an Administrator to join our ICP Residential team. Here you'll be responsible for carrying out a variety of administrative tasks and providing excellent service to our customers. You will assist in the preparation and management of documentation, ensure effective programming of work to meet customer and company timescales and maintain accurate records. Not only will you liaise with a variety of customers, you'll also build relationships with colleagues across Lighting & Grid and the wider business. Job Purpose:

To carry out administrative tasks in support of the Lighting and Grid business activity in order to provide excellent service to our customers within the ICP Residential Team.

Key activities:

  • provision of administrative support and assistance of ICP Residential projects
  • assist in the preparation and management of documentation in accordance with the relevant procedures
  • completing DNO and IDNO applications to ensure we are compliant with our NERS accreditation
  • ensuring work meets levels of customer service, taking action where necessary to ensure that they stay within acceptable limits
  • taking ownership of complaints, as appropriate, resulting from the process activities ensuring that they are dealt with correctly and in line with the company policy on complaint handling
  • being available for regular briefings, participating in feedback processes and raising questions to ensure personal understanding at all times
  • ensuring that accurate records are maintained
  • taking an active part in personal development to ensure abilities are maximised to the benefit of the ICP Residential activities
  • having regular contact with members of staff at all levels within EUS and other internal and external customers
  • build and/or maintain good working relationships with staff within EUS and across the other business streams, as appropriate
  • Dealing with local councils and authorities in a professional manor to secure section 50 applications for ICP project delivery
  • Use of a SAP online system for purchase order creation and invoice processing

Main responsibilities:

The post holder’s responsibilities include:

  • the delivery of a flexible, high quality, customer focused and cost effective service within the ICP Residential team
  • provide support services for employees
  • maintain company procedures and systems under the guidance of management
  • gather and process financial, personnel, sales and operational data from staff and manual/electronic systems
  • take ownership and responsibility for personal health and safety, and for others who may be affected by actions
  • continuously improving the way in which ICP Residential team operates
  • respecting the confidentiality of EUS information
  • be proactive about and take ownership of all aspects of safety, health, environmental and quality issues related to work and the impact on ourselves and others
  • to assist with running of the ICP Residential team on a day-to-day basis

Key Skill Requirements:

The post holder will have:

  • have previous admin experience
  • have the desire to help, service and meet the needs of customers
  • actively seek to find out information about things, people or issues and will ensure they understand the information and can respond to it
  • have a positive attitude and be enthusiastic
  • be able to tackle problems in a logical way taking into account all relevant information and take responsibility for solving a problem and seeing it through
  • have an understanding of the Lighting and Grid business
  • have a general appreciation of the DNO & IDNO networks
  • have a working knowledge of the customer service and guarantees of service requirements
  • Previous experience of working in an administrative role with the desire to help, service and meet the needs of customers.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to take a confident and diplomatic approach with staff, colleagues and customers.
  • Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and schedule own workload to meet deadlines.
  • Numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and information and produce it in a clear and logical format.
  • Working knowledge of PC based computer systems and the ability to adapt quickly to changes to those systems.
  • Logical problem-solving skills, using relevant information to identify solutions and take accountability for delivering outcomes.
