The Business & Relationship Management (BRM) Team is currently seeking an Associate Director based out of our Stockholm office.
Department overview:
The role is based in Stockholm within the Business Relationship Management (“BRM”) group which leads business development and marketing efforts for Fitch Rating’s International Public Finance (‘IPF’) market segment franchise. IPF covers Local and Regional Governments and Government Related Entities i.e. entities having public missions across different sectors such as financial services, public transportation, social housing, health care, education.
This team is responsible for maintaining and developing the IPF ratings portfolio, managing Fitch Rating’s relationships with Issuers as well as liaising with Investment Banks and Debt Advisors.
This role has a primary focus on relationships based in the Nordics and Italy.
Role Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be based in Stockholm and will support the relationship development and marketing efforts for municipal funding agencies, public transportation, social housing, and local and regional government sectors in the Nordic Region and Italy. The person will work closely with the EMEA Head of BRM IPF and with IPF analysts across Europe (analysts covering the Nordic Region and Italy-based analysts). As the candidate progresses in the role, they will also build and manage their own client relationships. This role reports to the EMEA Head of BRM IPF based in Paris.
Candidate profile:
This position will suit someone who is keen to take on challenges and develop a career in a business development role with front-line relationship management. The role has a high component of client interaction with issuers and bankers/debt market professionals. The role requires an organized, enthusiastic and proactive individual with a high level of initiative and the ability to manage different and multiple tasks/transactions simultaneously. Some travel will be required for conferences and occasional meetings with prospective clients. A results-driven approach will be necessary to succeed and grow in the role.

5. Research and preparation of business development materials
