  • Working with stakeholders from acrossĀ Global'sĀ business to deliver value toĀ Global'sĀ audiences, advertisers and partnersĀ

  • Having the authority to identify, coordinate and implement change and turn good ideas into reality, quicklyĀ

Measures of successĀ
In the first few months, you would haveĀ

Responsibilities of the roleĀ

  • Work alongside the Product Owner and Tech Lead in your squad(s) to understand the 'what and how' of the product roadmapĀ

  • Facilitate creation of the plan (the 'when') for the squad(s) and manage its execution, adapting rapidly as priorities shift or new tech capabilities emergeĀ

  • Work closely on a day-to-day basis with your squad(s) to ensure they are clear, unblocked and producing high quality outputs, leveraging AI tooling to accelerate delivery where appropriateĀ

  • Identify risks and issues within your squad(s) and mitigate, resolve or escalate as appropriate; proactively flag when legacy approaches may limit agilityĀ

  • Understand inbound and outbound dependencies to deliver the plan; track and resolve these dependenciesĀ

  • Communicate clear summaries of progress against baseline plans and any changes, including root cause explanations, to other technology stakeholdersĀ

  • Track, understand and communicate changes in squad throughput and performance using metrics, including AI-driven insights where valuableĀ

What you will needĀ

  • Strong working knowledge of software development practices, methodologies and release lifecycles, with awareness of AI/ML development patterns (e.g., model training, versioning, deployment)Ā

  • Hands-on comfort with AI tooling (e.g.,Ā Claude, ChatGPT, automation platforms) to enhance your own productivity and support squad adoptionĀ

  • Experience in supporting the creation of project plans and delivery of product roadmaps, including iterative approaches for emerging or experimental technologyĀ

  • A focus on outcomes and business value, not process for process's sakeĀ

  • An ability to prioritise tasks based on importance and urgency, re-prioritising confidently as technology or market conditions changeĀ

  • An eye for detail and a willingness to understand the business context and technical content you are working withĀ

  • A keen ability to identify and resolve blockers and issuesĀ

  • Emotional intelligence and empathy; a strong ability to build effective working relationships with both business and technical stakeholders through periods of disruption and changeĀ

  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, ensuring squad members and other stakeholders are clear and seeking clarification where necessaryĀ

  • Effective facilitation skills to provide direction, and maintain focus and momentum

You'll be someone who....Ā

  • Is energised by change and technology disruption, not daunted by itĀ

  • Is curious about AI and emerging tech, with a desire to learn how they can improve how we workĀ

  • Isn't afraid of detail and wants to 'understand the why'Ā

  • Is a natural collaborator who enjoys working with a variety of teams, roles and peopleĀ

  • Is resilient and maintains a positive, solutions-focused attitude in the face of ambiguity, setbacks or rapid pivotsĀ

  • Is flexible and adaptable, with an approach on outcomes; you understand the theory but can adapt to day-to-day realityĀ

  • Is comfortable operating in fast-changing, AI-influenced environments where best practice is still emergingĀ

  • Is comfortable leading through facilitation and building consensus, including with those who have greater experience and/or technical expertise
