Overview of jobĀ
This role forms part of the Delivery function withinĀ Global'sĀ Transformation team.Ā
The Delivery function focuses on the delivery ofĀ Global'sĀ Technology & Digital product roadmaps.Ā
You will be responsible for creating and executing plans to deliver key Technology & Digital initiatives, building effective relationships with Product, Engineering and other business and technical stakeholders.Ā
You will work closely with one or more squads to identify and resolve blockers and issues, identify and resolve dependencies and ensure delivery is on time and on budget.Ā

Responsibilities of the roleĀ
Work alongside the Product Owner and Tech Lead in your squad(s) to understand the 'what and how' of the product roadmapĀ
Facilitate creation of the plan (the 'when') for the squad(s) and manage its execution,āÆadapting rapidly as priorities shift or new tech capabilities emergeĀ
Work closely on a day-to-day basis with your squad(s) to ensure they are clear, unblocked and producing high quality outputs,āÆleveraging AI tooling to accelerate delivery where appropriateĀ
Identify risks and issues within your squad(s) and mitigate, resolve or escalate as appropriate;āÆproactively flag when legacy approaches may limit agilityĀ
Understand inbound and outbound dependencies to deliver the plan; track and resolve these dependenciesĀ
Respond to and resolve issues as required in product development, testing, deployment or post-launch, including live incidentsĀ
Communicate clear summaries of progress against baseline plans and any changes, including root cause explanations, to other technology stakeholdersĀ
Champion modern delivery processes,āÆincluding rapid prototyping, hypothesis-driven development, and AI-assisted workflows; identify the most appropriate model(s) and implement improvementsĀ
Contribute to a high-performance culture within your squad(s), with a clear sense of accountability for outcomes; celebrate success andāÆexperiment, iterate, and learn from failuresĀ
Track, understand and communicate changes in squad throughput and performance using metrics,āÆincluding AI-driven insights where valuableĀ
What you will needĀ
Strong working knowledge of software development practices, methodologies and release lifecycles,āÆwith awareness of AI/ML development patterns (e.g., model training, versioning, deployment)Ā
Hands-on comfort with AI toolingāÆ(e.g.,Ā Claude, ChatGPT, automation platforms) to enhance your own productivity and support squad adoptionĀ
Experience in supporting the creation of project plans and delivery of product roadmaps,āÆincluding iterative approaches for emerging or experimental technologyĀ
A focus on outcomes and business value,āÆnot process for process's sakeĀ
An ability to prioritise tasks based on importance and urgency,āÆre-prioritising confidently as technology or market conditions changeĀ
An eye for detail and a willingness to understand the business context and technical content you are working withĀ
